Mrs Hagedoorn appeared according to a citation (and no member appearing to make a board) the gentlemen present considered the distance she lived, Recommended to the Chairman to take the oath[.] She being sworn declared that John Van Antwerp charged and took from her for a quarter of a pound of Indigo Eight Dollars. Whereupon the matter is referred till Saturday next.

This board having sent for John Van Antwerp to answer a Complaint against him but he did not appear, therefore the matter is referred to the next meeting of this board[.]
Resolved that Jacobus Teller and John Roseboom be appointed a sub committee from this board to attend the County Committee at Albany on Wednesday the 11th Inst.

Information being given to this board that Francis Doffy an Inhabitant of Goshen District hath bought some Cattle in this District at an Extortioned price, On motion made Resolved that one of the Members of this District attend on the Committee at Albany on Monday morning to Consult with them on the premises and see whether it would not be best to pass a Resolution to prevent persons buying up Cattle to take out of this County[.] Resolved that said Doffey be detained with the Cattle until their Resolution be known.
Resolved that Messrs John Antwerpen and Charles Meals be cited to appear before this board on Saturday next at 2 0'Clock in the afternoon at the house of Capt. John A Bradt[.]
This board having received a Resolution of the General Committee of Albany dated the 29 July last concerning the regulation of trade Resolved that a copy of said Resolution be set up at some public place for perusal of the people[.]

The number that was sent down to attend upon the Committee at Albany reported that the Committee could not meet at that time but upon consulting the Chairman and Deputy Chairman it was their opinion that it should be laid before the General Committee but that we ought to detain the cattle until the result of the General Committee shall be known.
Resolved thereupon, that no cattle shall be permitted to be drove from this District until the Resolution of the General Committee of this County which is to convene next Tuesday shall be known[.]
Mr Charles Meals appearing before this board and being examined concerning a quantity of Tea he had imported from Philadelphia he being duly sworn declared that he had sold all his Tea but twenty pounds and a half including the Tea he wanted for his own use[.] He producing his vouchers for said Tea [,] they being at an early date before this County had fallen into the measures, we think it Just that said Meals should be allowed for his Tea at the rate of 25 pr cent and cost of conveyance according to a later resolution of the General Committee dated 29 July last[.] Resolved there upon that said Meals be ordered to sell his Tea at 20 Dollars and three pence pr. lb which is at the rate above[.]
