One of Capt Bradts Soldiers complained to this board that the Cap^t. ordered him to be [ready] to march[;] he told the Cap^t. he was very willing [bu]t that he had a Sore knee yet would go as farr as he [cou]ld[;] upon this the Capt told him then he would go [ ] Slay and Drag him along[;] the man answered [ ] very well [ ;] then the Capt beat him [ ] Abusefull manner[.] Therefore Resolved to send for Capt Bradt and make inquiree into the matter.
