Daniel McDonald a Soldier in Colonel Van Skeyks Regt and Capt. Cobs Company informed the board that he hase a boy of Seven years Old Now living with George Posses which he desires to have in order to bind him Out an Aprentise to Some person and that Said Posses Refuses to let him have the boy. Said Posses being Also pressent Says that he hase kep Said boy one year and Nine monthes and that he is willing to deliver up Said boy if Said McDaniel will pay him fifteen pounds for his keeping. Resolved that if Said McDaniel do pay to George Posses fifteen pounds N Y C on or before the fifteenth day of this Inst then Pusess Shall deliver up the boy if Not the Said McDonald is to bind his Son An Aprentise to the Said Posses and that the Said Posses Shall be bound to learn Said boy the Trade or Calling of a Shoemaker
John McCallom Complains to the board that he hase been Robed of one pair leather britches & two Rawls of Tobaco and Supposses that Isaac Isaacs & Hanyost Pease is the persones Giltey of the Robery as they lived or was billeted in his house he further Says that he hase Seen the two Rawis of Tobaco in the Possesion of Henry Hill and requests a Serch Warrent to Search the House of Said Hill. Resolved that a Search warrent be granted to the said McCaIlom on his Making Oath that he thinkes that the whole or part of Said Effects is in the possesion of Said Hill
I do Swer on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God that I have Seen two Rawls of Tobaco in the possesion of Henry Hill which I beleve to be the two Rauls of Tobaco Lately Stoll out of my House to the best of My K[n]owledge So help me God

John McCallom having taken the above Oath Resolved that a Serch warrent be granted to him which was don Accordingly. The Constable having taken the warrent and made Search found two Roles of Tobaco in the possesion of Henry Hill which he produced to this board, & John McCallom being asked if the Said Tobaco was his he answred that it was and was willing to Swer that it was his property to the best of his Knowledge. Resolved that if Said McCalom proves his propertey by Oath that it be delivered to him. And that he take the following Oath

Resolved that Abraham Funda is Appointed to attend at the General meeting of the Countey Committee at Albany on tuesday Next. Resolved that John Cuyler Alexr Vedder & Hugh Mitchell is appointed to be a Sub Committee to transact bussiness in the Town untill Seterday Next.

John Brown Soldier in Colonel Van Skeuks Regiment & Captain Grahams Company Complains to this board and Says that he hase been lately on Command Along with the Rest of his Company at Sarratoga and when he went from this Town to go on Said Command he left Sundrey Articles Viz a fether bed & bedding Shirts & Stockings two brass Cooking Kettles on Tin kettle Teapott &c in the Care of Elizabath Robeson whom he kep as a Compenion for Some time and that on his Return to Town from Said Command he was informed that the Said Elizabath Robeson had imbazied & Made away with all his Effects and was her Self gon to Fort Schuyler Along with another Man.
On making inquirey After his Said Effects he has found the bed and bed Clothes in the possesion of Sarah Culberson a kettle in the Custody of Petter Adair, Another Kettle in the Custody of Mrs. Liddle a black Silk handkert chief in the Custody of John the butcher a british Soldier who lodges at the house of Sarah Culberson, which they refuse to deliver up to him
Recd. an order from Fredrick Fisher one of the Commissioners of Sequesteration for Tryon County to take into Custodey all the Saddlers tooles belonging to Michel Grass Now in the possesion of Fredrick William Asold. Said Asold being Sent for and pressent Says that he purchesed the Said tools from the wife of Michell Grass
The wife of Michel Grass being also pressent Says that being intimidated by him and made to beleve that all her Effects wawid be taken from her and She her Self be Sent to Cannada Sould him Some Saddlers tools & Saddlerey ware for Nine gunnees----- a Saddle Saddle bags & Som wheep Sticks for two gunnees. The Committee being of Opinion that they Cannot with propriety take the above Mentioned articles from the Said Ashold without Causing his money to be returned to him. Thereupon Resolved that Said Fredrick W. Ashold Give in a list upon Oath of all the Articles he purchased from the wife of Michael Grass and Securitey to deliver them up to this board when demanded. Also Resolved that the wife of Michel Grass Give Securitey to deliver up to this board the Eleven Ginneys which She Recd from the Said Ashold for the goods Sould him when demanded Each under the penalty of fiftey pounds
Joseph Flansborrough Complains that Alexr. Marselis is indepted to him for Labour which he refuses to pay Resolved that Alexr. Marselis be Summonsed to appear before this board on Seterday Next to Answer to the Complaint of Said Flansborrough which was don Accordingly

Messrs. Teller & Fundaw being Returned from the General Meeting of the Committee at Albany Laid before the board A Resolve of the Committee of Albany that no wheat or other Grain be distilled into Whiskey within this Countey Untill the Legislature Shall have regulated the prices of Corn moditeys in this State. Resolved that Henry & Christopher Velthusen be Sent for and made Acquainted with the above Resolve which was don Accordingly.
Fredrick William Hashold appeared before the board and Said he Coold Not give Bail According to the Resolve of the 3d Inst. but was willing to deliver of the goods he had on hand and pay for those Sould providing the money he gave for them was Returned Thereupon Resolved that Said Hashold Deliver up the goods on hand Under Oath and pay for those he Sould which was don Accordingly and the Sum Recd. Mathew Fisher Esqr. Complains that Jean Adair (who is a bound Servant to Capt Fryer) got leave from her Said Master Some time ago to Come to this Town to See her frends and was to Return in a few days, that his Wife Mrs Fisher lent the Said Jean a Long blue brod Cloth Clock A Short Scarlet Clock & a Stove and that the Said Jean Will Not return to her Service Nor deliver up his wifes goods Resolved that Jean Adair be Summonsed to Appear before the board Emediatly to Answer to Said Complaint which being don and She refusing to appear Resolved that Said Jean be Committed to Albany Goal untill She give Sattisfaction to her Said Master Or be released by that Committee which was don Accordingly
