At a meeting of the Committee, the 9th June, 1775:

Received a letter from the Committee of Albany, informing this board that Captain Van Dike's Company would not be soon wanted to go on service.
Having taken the Contents of said letter into consideration, Resolved, that Captain Van Dike's men be allowed no provision, nor billeting money for the future, until their service is wanted, and that those who are not willing to continue in the service agreeable to this resolve, be Emediately paid of and discharged.
On motion made, Resolved, that Captain Van Dike's Company spend two days in the week in learning the military exercise.

A letter being received from Henry Glen, Esqr at N. York, dated the 15th Inst., Resolved, that the said letter be answered, which is don, as per coppy on file.
John Denney being Just Returned from Canada,
Resolved, that said Denney be Examined under oath Respecting his knowledg of publick matters in and about Montreal, which was don accordingly.

A letter being received from Henry Bleeker, Commissary at Albany, requesting this board to furnish with twenty waggons on the publick credit. to carry provisions to Lake george: -
Having taken the contents of said letter into Consideration, Resolved, that said request is Complyed with, and that said Bleeker's letter be answered accordingly.

The Reverend Samuel Kirtland, with five Oneida Indians, waited on this board, and informed us they were going to Albany to speak to the Committee there, and requested some of this board might accompany them.
This board having taken their request into Consideration, Resolved, that John Rosebom is appointed to accompany Mr. Kirtland and said Indians to Albany.
Binjamin Hilton gave in a resignation of his warrent, and Refused serving.
This board having taken the resignation of said Hilton into Consideration, Resolved, that the same is axcepted of.
On motion made, Resolved, that Cornelious Van Slike is appointed to be a Lieut. in the room of Binjamin Hilton, and John G. Lansing is appointed to be an Ensign in the room of Cornelious Van Slike.

The oneda Indians being returned from Albany and waited on the Committee, Resolved, to give said Indians some presents to show them our friendly disposition, and that they be entertained while in town, at the House of William White.
A sub-committee from Albany waited on this board, and informed us that they were on their way to the German Flatts, to assist at the counsel to be held there with the Indians; and in consequence of a resolve of the Committee of Albany, Requested that a sub-committee from this board might accompany them on said business.
Having taken the request of said Committee into Consideration, Resolved, that Hugh Mitchell and Abraham Oothout be a sub-committee from this board to assist at the counsel to be held at the german flatts with the Indians.
