We recd your order of the first Instant which we put Immidiately in the hand of John Vrooman Lieut. with a fyle of men to apprend John Duncan & Alexander Campbel Esquires which was porformed this morning in order to Carry them down to Albany: but by their Insisting of being not Gilty of any Crim Commited or Intended to be Commited by them Aga[inst] the united States of north amarica and provaild upon the officer to Give them Leave to See us before they where Carried Down to albany which was permited and then they Came before us and offered to take an oath to take up arms in Defince of this Contry if invaided which we take and Discharged thim as we are well Satisfied from their Conduct Since they return home that they are not Danjurus to the State therefor if any thing is Come to your knowllidge Concerning them please to Lat us have the particlurs will oblige

Yours By the Exspress of the 4th. Instant is duley Come to hand & have Noted the Contents. We must Inform You that we have this Morning Received a letter from the Chairmen of the Committee from Ballstown, and Likewise Recd. a letter from Colonel Fredrick Fischer of Tryon County Requesting us to send out a Quanty of Provisions & Some Amenition, Accordingly we have Orderd the D. Commissary in this Town to send of a Quanty of Provisions Emeadtely which will take A Good many Waggons and the Qur. Master Mr. H GIen Informs us he has this Morning sent of Some More Waggons with Provisions for Johnstown for the Troops that are Stationd. their & Some Waggons Imployd in Carring Boards. from this to Albany for the Battoes that are Building their Makes it all Most out of our Power to Comply with Your Request. But in the Mean time you may Rely We will Procure You as Many Waggons as we Posiple Can We have tought it Verry Necessary to Send you A Copy of the letter that Came to hand this Morning from Balistown We Fother Must Acquaint You that the militia of Johnstown in Stead of Goeing by the way of Tacandago they are Marchd. by the way of Ballstown ------

Application being made to us by Capt Banker Superintendent and Barks Master at Fishkill & for a Number of Dry board which were wanted for Barks &c at fishkill, and also Wagons to Carry the same from hence to Albany, which said Request we having taken in Consideration, and Resolved that as it appears to us that one Joshua Watts hath bought up and monopolized a Large Quantity of boards in this District, which is Contrary to a Resolve of the Provential Congress of the 3d of April Last, that we Shall Supply said Capt Banker with these boards and that said Watson Shall be allowed the Common market price for the same, and Mr Myndert S. Ten Eyck is appointed to Count off and Deliver said Boards to Capt Banker Orders Till Mr Henry Glen Esqr. Deputy Commissary General Comes Home when he is required to take as many of said board as may be wanted for the use of the publick and pay the owner for the same
On Examining the Different accounts and Reciepts of Mr Abraham Fonda present Chairman in whose hands was Left by the former Committee the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds Sixteen Shilling which was Collected towards raising a Number of Militia Last Summer to go in the Contenantal Sarvice it appears that Mr Funda had paid out to the Several Captains in Colo. Wimpels Regiment the sum one hundred and twenty one pounds Six Shillings and four pence and further to Harmanus H Peeck the sum of three pounds 2/ for repairing the wach House so that their remains in his hands of said money thirty six pounds 7/8
Likewise Left in hands of Mr Funda Eleven pounds Eleven Shillings from the former Committee out of which he has paid Isaac A. Truax the sum of Eleven pounds for tending the whach one year and this Committee have Engaged to pay said Truax the sum of fifteen pounds for the Ensumg year

On Information made to us upon Oath that William Agnue John Mc Mullen Alexander McMurry William McCarty had been Absent from home some Days, these persons Live on Cambles Land near Sakendage, it appears that those people had been in Company with others that were gethered beyond balstown for which reason we sent our Militia for them and they appeared before us, they told us they had been to Harpersfield to Look for some Land they had that way we asked one of them to Declare upon Oath to us they had be that way which he refused, whereupo concluded they were Guilty of the Charge alledged against them accordingly sent them to Albany to Confinement also resolved that the party who take these prisoners down also take Jacob I. Truax, and Deliver him with the rest to the Chairman at Albany to be Confined by information to us on Oath that he had told Gerret Gerrison he was no tory but he was a man for the King that he had been taken prisoner once by the Committee of Schenectady but Shewed him a tomyhoak he had fixed ready and said hoe ever came to take him he would kill him

By Virtue of a Request of the Provential Congress and a Resolve of the Committie of the City and County of Albany for Chusing New members in the severall Destricts in this County to Serve as a Committie to take place the first tuesday in June next and to Continue till the first of October following
Therefore Resolved that advertisements be published true the Different parts of this district Notifying all persons to appear on tuesday the 20th instant at the house of Mr John A Bradt at Nine OClock in the morning to Vote for members according to the above resolution and also that the Constitution of the State of New York be the same Day red off to the publick

A Resolve from the Committee of the City and County of Albany was Presented to this board by Abraham Oothout and Mydert Schuyler Ten Eyck two of the Members of this board in the word following (to wit)
Resolved that the Committees of the different destrects in this County Deliver a
List to the field Officers in their Respective destrects of the Names of Such
persons as are to be sent down to the fleet prisoner at Kings Town and that
said Field Officers Cause such persons to be apprehended on Monday Next
Emediately sent down to this place under Gaurd

The Committee have taken the Liberty to detain the Prisoners you have sent and submit the mode we have taken with those who were apprehended in this Town, to Your Consideration Should this Method meet with your approbation we shall Readily concur with you in causing the same to be carried into execution or such other as may be deemed expedient. We have given them their Parole and wait to know your Opinion on this Subject we would therefore request that a Member may be sent with the Sense of your Board and unite with us on Thursday the 22d Instant in order to advise such ways and Means as are prudent to be taken with those people We are
Resolved on the Receipt of the forgoing Letter that Mr. John Roseboom go down to Albany in Order to act with the Committee of Albany to Let our Prisoners take the same Oath as their Prisoners have done & According took the Said Oath as Follow:

B, do most solemnly swear in the presence of Almighty God that I will not by words or deeds give any Concel advice Derections aid or Comfort to any the Enemies of the United States of America which may tend in any measure prejudical to the said states or at my request sued for or by any means Obtained or Receive a protection or pardon from Lord or General How or Either of them or from any other person or persons Authreyed by them or Either of them for granting the same nor am I nor have I been privy or knowing to any plots or Conspiracies that are forming or have bean formed against the United States of America so help Me God
