On motion made, Resolved, that James Wilson & Harmanas Wendle is appointed to be a Sub-Committee to attend at the next general meeting of the Committee at Albany the 7th Inst., and lay a list of the officers appointed for the five Companys of minute men and militia before that board, and apply for their Commissions.

On motion made, Resolved, that Henry Glen & John Rosebom is appointed to be a Sub-Committee from this board to attend at the general meeting of the Committee at Albany the 21st Inst.
At a meeting of the Committee, the 27th Sepr 1775:

Received a letter from the provincial Congress, dated the 9th of August, requesting that all the Districts who Could raise five Companys of Militia should recomend such persons as they thought proper to be field officers.
This board having taken the Contents of said letter into Consideration, Resolved, to Recommend the following persons, viz:

Information being given to this board that George Ramsey had spoken verry disrespectfully of some of the members of this Committee, and that he was strongly suspected of being Concerned in putting tar and fethers on several of their doors last night:
This board having taken the above information into Consideration, Resolved, to postpon the trial of said Ramsey respecting the first offense until a fuller board, and that aplication be made to the Magistrates to take Cognesence of the latter.
